Location made exploring Kyoto easy. Nijojo-mae Station is practically a stone's throw away. A short 10-minute walk to JR Shijo Omiya Station helps, especially for day trips. The superior twin room offered a nice layout, although the overall space felt a bit cramped with four people. Check-in was quick and hassle-free thanks to the self-service option. However, the towels ran out quickly in the shared space—it took time to replenish them, which became inconvenient. The dryer charge was surprisingly high. it caught me off guard given my past stays at other hotels. The room had a separate bath area, a rare find that I greatly appreciated. Yet, the presence of stains on the bedding was disappointing. Overall, the experience balanced out—for the price, it's a fair deal, but some improvements would enhance the visit.

The digital Yale lock system occasionally led to confusion, as I inadvertently opened another guest's room due to a code error. that raises some security concerns. Air conditioning had a disturbing damp smell that made using it unpleasant.

My stay at m's hotel nijojo oike was fantastic! After a few other visits to kyoto, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect, allowing easy access to local attractions like nijo castle and even better noodles nearby.
